Hilary’s early career was in the Royal Air Force where she was commissioned as an Officer in the Personnel Branch. These early leadership skills, earned in some very testing situations, have been an excellent base for the career roles that followed.
With over 23 years of experience of the NHS and the Pharmaceutical Industry, Hilary has developed and delivered training to a wide variety of organisations and individuals within the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry. She is ABPI qualified, so understands the ethical requirements of the NHS and training delivery. This training builds excellent partnerships that will benefit clients and their customers.
Hilary has also written a series of leadership articles for the Journal of Pharmacy Management.
In July 2005, Hilary was appointed a Justice of the Peace for England and Wales and now sits as a Presiding Justice in the adult courts. This is an entirely voluntary role which is undertaken in addition to her training work.
Ascensys Ltd delivered, pro bono, CV and Interview Skills training to groups of local sixth formers. The feedback received from Mrs Penny Walkinshaw (Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire) was:
“You have been so generous with your time, professional knowledge and experience. You both made a massive impact on the students and the staff. It was so evident that this was a Rolls Royce session grounded in what works and what makes a difference.
Thank you again for all your hard work beforehand. You are a very impressive team and I consider myself fortunate to have your help and support.”
